Terms & Conditions:
These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase and use of service packages (Essential, Premium, and Elite Plans) offered by AWAS by Slick and are binding upon any customer who purchases or utilizes our services.
By purchasing any service package, the Customer agrees to be bound by these Conditions and our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to amend or update these Conditions at any time without notice. Changes become effective upon posting on our website or being communicated directly to the Customer.
1. Definitions
- Service Packages refer to the Essential, Premium, and Elite service plans, including all their inclusions and benefits as described in our official communications.
- Contract means the agreement formed when a Customer purchases a service package from us, confirmed by receipt or invoice.
- Customer means any individual or entity purchasing or using a service package.
- Workshop refers to our designated service facility or mobile unit where services are rendered.
- Eligible Vehicle means any vehicle that passes the required initial inspection and is accepted into a service package.
2. Package Scope
- Each plan covers a specific vehicle usage limit (30,000 km/year for Essential, 40,000 km/year for Premium, 50,000 km/year for Elite).
- The services and benefits included are detailed in the respective plan descriptions.
- Service schedules must be followed as specified: either by time interval or mileage, whichever comes first.
3. Eligibility & Inspection
- All vehicles must undergo an initial inspection before acceptance into any service package.
- We reserve the right to reject any vehicle not meeting the eligibility criteria due to condition, age, or maintenance history.
- Only vehicles from accepted brands/logos are eligible for any of the service packages. We reserve the right to decline vehicles from unsupported or excluded manufacturers at our discretion. A list of eligible brands is available upon request.
4. Validity & Expiry
- Service plans are valid for 12 months from the date of activation or purchase.
- All services and benefits must be used within the validity period.
- Once the contract period ends, any unused services or benefits will be forfeited and can no longer be used.
- Services are not transferable to another vehicle or person unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Contract Cancellation
- Customers may request to cancel a service package within 7 days of purchase, provided that no services have been availed.
- If any part of the service package has been used, the contract becomes non-refundable and non-cancellable.
- Cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to our customer service team.
- Approved cancellations will be refunded within 14 business days in the original form of payment, minus any applicable processing fees.
- We reserve the right to cancel a service package if:
o The vehicle fails the eligibility inspection.
o The vehicle is found to be unsafe or non-compliant.
o There is misuse, abuse, or fraudulent use of services.
6. Booking Scheduling & Appointments
- Services are rendered by appointment only and are subject to availability.
- Late arrivals or missed appointments may result in rescheduling delays.
Pick-up & drop-off services are offered based on plan inclusions and are limited by location (Dubai-only for Essential & Premium; UAE-wide for Elite).
7. Payments
- Full payment is required upon plan activation. Services cannot be redeemed unless payment is complete.
- All prices include VAT where applicable.
- No refunds will be issued after the plan has been activated or any service has been redeemed.
8. Repairs & Replacements
- Discounts on labor or parts apply only where explicitly stated (e.g., 15% on labor for Essential; 25% on labor and bodywork for Elite).
- Complimentary parts or services (e.g., brake pad changes, battery replacement) are subject to eligibility and one-time use per contract year unless otherwise specified.
9. Limitations & Exclusions
- Services are only available to vehicles that are regularly maintained and in acceptable mechanical condition.
- AWAS by Slick warranty is subject to annual renewal. As a condition precedent to renewal, a Condition Report must be issued each year to assess the vehicle’s eligibility. Renewal of the warranty shall be at the sole discretion of AWAS by Slick based on the findings of the Condition Report
- In the event of a major accident during the warranty period, the warranty will be automatically void if the vehicle is not repaired at AWAS by Slick.
- If the vehicle is sold, AWAS by Slick warranty may be transferred to the new owner for the remaining warranty period. However, the warranty is non-refundable. To activate the transfer, the new owner must review, accept, and sign the warranty Terms & Conditions. Failure to do so will render the warranty void for the remainder of the period
- If the owner continues to operate the vehicle despite evident defects, leading to further damage and increased repair costs, the warranty will be voided immediately
- In the event that a reported fault cannot be replicated or conclusively diagnosed while the vehicle is present at the premises of AWAS by Slick, the company reserves the right to reject the associated warranty claim.
- Used parts, as well as any parts supplied or sourced by the customer, are expressly excluded from the scope of this warranty and shall not be covered under any circumstances
- Plans do not cover major engine repairs, accident-related damages, or any repairs outside the scope of routine service and maintenance.
- Tyres, body damage, insurance claims, or parts not included in your plan will be quoted separately.
10. Liability
- We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or failures arising from misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modifications to the vehicle.
- Any advice not provided in writing shall be followed at the Customer’s own risk.
11. Force Majeure
• We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, pandemic restrictions, or supply shortages).
12. Governing Law
- These Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
- Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Dubai, UAE].
